The live map

When this map is in color,
the coffee is on.

No schedules to update, no posts to remember. A switch on the truck's dash flips this map for every visitor at once — flip it yourself:

Weddings, markets, church events, company mornings. If people will be there, coffee should be too.

For the owners · behind the scenes

How it all runs itself

In the truck

A small ESP32 board with an LTE modem watches a dash switch. Flip it and the board sends one tiny message over cellular. An LED confirms it landed.

In the cloud

The site's API stores the status and location. GPS on the board means the pin follows the truck automatically — no typing addresses.

On the site

Visitors' maps flip from gray to color within a minute. A phone-friendly console remains as backup for naming the spot ("here until 1pm!").

Online orders

The bean shop replaces the Squarespace store. Stripe handles payment, tax, and receipts; orders land in a phone app. No monthly platform fee.

One calendar

Public events show on the site; private bookings block dates without leaking details. Webform requests land in the truck console — with room to sync to MFIS Group's calendar system.
